First Day of School!

Today was Emily's ftrst day of 2nd grade. She was so excited to go back to school. She had her new backpack ready for weeks. She had a great first day!  She told me she wrote me a note today because I always give her one in her lunch. I thought that was so sweet of her.

Thank You Card

Here is a thank you card I made and gave to my friend who came to our home to check on our cats, bring in the mail and papers while we were on vacation last week. It is a simple card. I embossed the yellow card base with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder, used a Calypso flower, ribbon from Michael's and the Thank you I cut on my Cricut. I slipped a Target giftcard under the ribbon on the inside of the card.

Back from Vacation

Hi everyone. My family and I are back from vacation and trying to get into the swing of things. It is a beautiful day here in Bucks County. The breezes are wonderful. We spent the past week at the Delaware beaches at my sister-in-law's home. We really enjoyed ourselves and loved going to Rehoboth Beach. The have a nice, small boardwalk. Just right for our 7 year old daughter who was mainly interested in playing games. In Rehoboth the games are much more reasonable than the Wildwood boardwalk so we didn't mind her playing. She won plenty of stuffed animals. One of our closest friends cam down and spent several days with us and my sister-in-law and her husband were there on the weekends. It was a nice relaxing week. I hope to get some scrapbooking and cardmaking done this week. Enjoy the day everyone!

Catch a Wave!

Hi everyone! I'm back from the Jersey shore. We had a great time at the beach making sand castles, burying Emily and having fun in the ocean. It was so clean, clear and warm! Toward the end of our vacation the ocean was rough but we had fun jumping the waves and diving into them.

Here is a quick card I just made. I just bought from Michael's the ek success beach edger punch. I really like this punch. I made a 2nd small sand castle and popped it up a little in the middle of the border.

Punch: ek success beach edger punch
Embossing: Sizzix sun, Sizzix waves
Stamp: studio g clear stamps
Ink: Ink it Up! French Blue
