4H - Memorial Day Weekend 2009

I just did this 2 page layout of pictures on Memorial Day 2009. I took my daughter to see her cousin ride and take care of horses at her 4H club. I loved watching my niece ride the horse and showing Emily what she needs to do to care for a horse.

Crayola Factory!

In the summer of 2009 our family went to the Crayola Factory in Easton, PA. It was a really fun trip. We saw how crayons are made and there were many fun, creative stations throughout to use their products. I think I had as much fun as my daughter. Here is a layout I just did of the trip. I am trying to catch up on my scrapbooking.  I  think I have too much on this page, but I got a little carried away. Oh well.

Bowling Birthday Card

We are going to a bowling party to celebrate our neighbor's 30th birthday. Here is the card I made. I printed a bowling picture, glossed the bowl, stickled the stars and the pins. On the inside is a stamp from Inkadinkado. I also made a slot to slide in a gift card.

Beach Card

I was inspired by  Cards by Jovan for this card. She posted this card and I just had to make it. The card base is Kraft paper. I used white and beige cardstock. I colored with pencils the water, sun, sky and birds. I embossed the sand. I used Life's A Beach for the chair.

Pre School Trip to the Farm Layouts

Teacher Appreciation Card

This is the card my daughter gave her teacher for Teacher Appreciation Week. I used Kraft paper, Colorbok School Life paper (apple paper), DCWV tag, homemade "baker's twine", Joy's Life Mother & Daughter clear stamps, TPC Studio Teacher Clear Stamps for the picture on the tag and the school house on the inside. I gloss on of the red apples. My daughter picked out a pretty plant to go along with this card. We put the apple paper around the plant base, added some "twine" and used glitter letter stickers to put the teacher's name on the pot.

The wording I printed and I added a packet of Daisy seeds.

Wedding Card

I made this card for one of our closest friends' mother's wedding. The invitation was white with purple swirls on one side so I used that for inspiration. It is a 5 by 7 card.  On the inside left I made a pocket to place the check.

I left an opening so we can slip a check in the side.

Miniature Golf Birthday Party!

On Saturday we celebrated our daughter's 7th birthday with a miniature golf party. Here is a picture of the cake I made.
