Kate's ABCs

Here is my 2nd card from Kate's ABCs. This is a thank you card for a nice lady who gave my daughter a nice gift basket of goodies for Easter. She is a retired teacher who loves cats. The sentiment is from Joy's Life Mother & Daughter clear stamp set.

Happy Easter!

Every Easter the church I attend, New Life Christian Church, re-enacts the Passion of Christ. He gave his life so we could have everlasting life.

Kate's ABCs

I finally bought Kate's ABCs. It was on sale at Jo Ann's, but it was still the most I paid for a cartridge.
I can't wait to create something.

Quick Treat Bags for my Daughter's 1st Grade Class.

Here are some pictures of treat bags I just made for my daughter's class. I used a flower border punch and a couple of stamps. I put a Dig'n Dip and a coconut Hershey Kiss in each bag. Those Kisses are so yummy!

Easter card for my daughter

This is the Easter card I made for my daughter today. I downloaded the free image and printed it on cardstock. I colored it with Prang colored pencils and mineral spirits. I used JoysLife.com  Mother & Daughter clear stamps for the sentiment. This is the first card I made using a digi stamp. The flowers are from my garden. I thought they looked pretty so I thought I would share them with you.

Special Childrens Anything Goes Challenge

When my 6 year old daughter made a card all by herself I wanted to see if I could enter it in a challenge for her. I found the Special Children's Anything Goes Challenge on http://simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/. She was so proud of this card and to tell you the truth I am impressed with it. She designed it, hand cut everything and even came up with the wording. Do I sound like a proud Mama or what. lol

Play Ball!

Saturday was opening day for tball! This is Emily's first year and she was so excited. The day began with a parade of all the teams, not just the 12 tball teams but the baseball and softball teams too. After opening ceremonies, games started and continued into the evening. It was so much fun watching the little kids playing tball. Emily's team is the Giants. I wish it was the Phillies, but at least the Giants were the World Champs last year. Here are a few pictures:

Emily was so proud of her helmet. She took some of my scrapbooking precut letters and wrote Giants across the front of her batting helmet.

Girls Day Out!

My daughter was off from school today. We both had our haircut by my sister and then the three of us went to lunch. On the drive home I asked Emily what she wanted to do when we came home. She said, "Scrapbook and make cards."

CCCC #12 - From My Kitchen

The following is a layout for my daughter's 6th birthday last year. She wanted a tea party. All the little girls (23) dressed up and had 'tea' and little sandwiches, fruit, and of course sweets. They played games such as tea party bingo. I made the goody bags, flowered centerpieces and decorations all with the Cricut. That was really the first time I used the Cricut.

Cartridge: From My Kitchen for the picture frames, cupcake, teapot and cup & saucer
Stickles: Yellow, red, green
Paper: DCWV Ultimate Premium Stack, My Mind's Eye Everyday Tango, various cardstock
Border Punch from Recollections
